Oleg Sydor-Hibelynda / art: “Paintings of Peter Bevza seemed to bring us back to the original origins of all time, but do it with the bird’s eye view, as if conducting measurements for a huge terrain relief-a philosophical map. Strangely it does not remove us from the surface, and closer to her, taking samples of soil and rocks, and the pulse of the earth”.

Tatiana Brass / critic: “a Perfect world, the sign and the earth -the three pillars on which rests the work of Bevza. His means of expression — dynamic expression of the human dimension, color depth commensurate with the depth of “human perception”, the character as the archetype of the earth.”

Nikolay Skiba“The series of works United by the title “tsuki”, where Peter Bevza reflects on the phenomenon of popular iconography, identity nemereno lack of boundaries between the sacred and the mundane [no wonder rural painters created images of saints with their fellow villagers], and that the sacred is not to be sought in the canonicity of the stories, and the human condition”

Works from the cycle of sacred art “TSKI slow or images of happiness” were presented for the first time in a solo exhibition “TSKI” in Kiev Gallery “Triptych” 2007. Tski – Old Russian word board reduction – the so-called ancient painters their works that were written on wood, covered with gesso. In this work the artist seeks to revive traditional sacred stories, “bring” them to present to our present authentic non-canonical methods. Even to this day art icon -naspravdi “contemporary art”. Although the artist’s work raises the important and complex questions of human existence, the dynamics of color, the play of light and contrasts faces are statically calm and harmonious, and those that are close to real life. These works really slow match the name Images happiness contemplating that and want to add a comprehensive happiness. Looking prototype for their works, according to Olga Lagutenko, Peter Bevza traveled. He visited Vladimir, Novgorod, Pisa, Siena, Ravenna, Florence, Warsaw. In the Uffizi Gallery Bevza unexpectedly found in the Pisano strong support for their research: the image of Our Lady is served on the carpet, and Peter had long wanted to write an image of Mary on a striped handwoven rug.

Alexander Luchak / critic: “promoting the” art around us, “Bevza literally used to create an image that” under the feet “- homespun rugs that act sort of” salaries “. In the traditional scheme of sacred art salary should be gold, because it is the golden background symbolizes eternity. Bevza tells us – Eternity under our feet. The artist wrote his insults, not following the established church canons image, appealing to the Byzantine and rannoitaliyskyh samples. ” (TSKI: Booklet of the exhibition in the gallery “Triptych.” – K., 2007)

Nikolay Skiba: “From the blooming crosses echoes one of the most exquisite paintings series Peter Bevza -” Irises “, which specifies the maximum and even personalize the topic transformation. This is actually a story iris, observing that, the artist discovered the enormous energy deployment life, embodied in a fragile plant. ”

Working with the series “Iris” was presented in the same project in the Kiev artist gallery “Triptych” 2009. Cycle “Irises” – a confession of the master of his own experience “to know the world without leaving the yard.” In his estate flowers unfurled “meditation garden”. Artists happily had the opportunity to enjoy the way to fine-leg bud stalk bubnyaviye as growing and expanding its flesh as vidhortayetsya him first lobe and substitutes his palm to the sun, when suddenly explodes all the flower buds and minytsya colors, flashing, prytlumlyuyuchys, extinguished … (Olga Lagutenko. Peter Bevza. Painting: Album – K., 2011. – S.202].

Iris-prayer” reveals the colors of the aura when it is set in a harmonious keys wise silent prayer. This is not asking entreaty to God and entreaty blessing, gratitude for what God granted. Pale purple aura zharmonizovana purple, star streams saturated with fresh morning dawn. A green and light gray perceived as soft as the body of plants and spiritual depth. (Olga Lagutenko. Peter Bevza. Painting: Album – K., 2011. – S. 202-211]

Sergey Kurbatov / critic: “Elegant, filigree and nizhn1? Features on the paintings of Peter Bevza perhaps best embody the aesthetics of the flower. It irises grow naturally aura of decadence, carrying the kind of unearthly light. The artist probably long waited for them, and that’s the flowers opened, stopped in paints, stayed with us – forever. Peter helps us see the world through the eyes of irises – and this is a challenge and opportunity for all and each of us individually. Going through different stages of life iris like a rosary, we are able to discover Sofine unity of being and get real aesthetic pleasure. ”
