Brussels representative of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association participated in the POLITICO Competitive Europe Summit

On October 1-2, 2025, the annual POLITICO Competitive Europe Summit was held in Brussels, bringing together leading representatives of European institutions, business, civil society and the expert community to discuss key issues of European competitiveness.

The event was attended by the Brussels-based representative of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association (UNLA), Oleksandr Kamenets. As part of the panel discussion “Civil Society and Institutional Exchange”, he spoke about the establishment of a civilized and transparent lobbying market in Ukraine, as well as about the Association’s activities aimed at developing and implementing European standards in the field of lobbying.

According to Oleksandr Kamenets, the formation of an open and responsible lobbying infrastructure is an important component of democratic reforms and Ukraine’s European integration course.

“Transparent lobbying is not only a guarantee of effective dialogue between business, civil society and government institutions, but also a key to increasing trust and partnership between Ukraine and the European Union,” said the UNLA representative.

The POLITICO Competitive Europe Summit is one of the leading discussion platforms for the European Union and its partners to discuss strategies to improve the competitiveness of the European Union and its partners in the global economy.
