AOEU (Association of Organizations of Employers of Ukraine) joined the work of the 113th Session of the International Labour Conference of the ILO

Representative of the Association of Organizations of Employers of Ukraine (AOEU) and President of the European Facilitation Platform, Oleksandr Kamenets, Advisor to the Head of AOEU, is participating in the 113th Session of the International Labour Conference, which is taking place from June 2 to 13 in Geneva, Switzerland.

This year’s session of the Conference features a comprehensive agenda covering both ongoing topics and emerging challenges. Key issues under discussion include:

• the first standard-setting discussion on decent work in the platform economy,
• innovative approaches to tackling the informal economy and promoting the transition to the formal labour market.

The deliberations aim to strengthen global labour standards and ensure decent working conditions in a rapidly changing labour market.

The Association of Organizations of Employers of Ukraine (AOEU) maintains consistent cooperation with the International Labour Organization, both within the framework of social dialogue in Ukraine and through a range of joint projects. These include educational initiatives for businesses, support for micro and small enterprises, and the launch of corporate childcare spaces that promote work-life balance and responsible parenthood.

Such initiatives demonstrate Ukraine’s active role in shaping modern labour and employment policies and its commitment to integrating European standards into national practices.
